Here is our first TLC Talks: Israel video on Iranian nuclear weapon development and the first step in Israel advocacy.
After watching this video, what do you think is the best way to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons - through sanctions (economic penalties), negotiations with other countries, or another way - and why? Comment below!
As a small nation that is perpetually working to secure its existence, I feel the only safe approach to this is continued sanctions. Our neighboring Arab countries are very unpredictable, and at a time when negotiations with the Palestinians are so delicate, we have to ensure that we are securing ourselves throughout the entire region. And no, we are certainly not "besties."
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the video and I thought it did a very good job of telling us news about Israel, as well as explaining what Israel Advocacy is.
ReplyDeleteIran should have more sanctions imposed on it.
ReplyDeleteI think that sanctions are a good idea to do because that might be the only way Iran will listen to them.
ReplyDeleteI think Countries should come together and threaten Iran.
ReplyDeleteA few ways to stop Iran from developing these nuclear weapons is by giving more sanctions/punishments or somehow stop them from getting the imported goods for which they are making the nuclear weapons. We can also somehow shut down the area where they are making them or block the underground area where the weapons are being made or smuggled.
ReplyDeleteI feel that Israel should stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons through trying to execute them and to negotiate them. Although, we are a small country I feel that Israel still has the power to defeat them and to protect their own independent country.
ReplyDeleteI also feel that sanctions are the only productive way, considering the fact that we are such a small country and we cannot afford to have the Jewish homeland destroyed.
ReplyDeleteI also think that we should blackmail Iran multiple times so they will be afraid of America. After all, America is bigger then Iran...
ReplyDeleteI think that the best way for us to to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons is to come together with other countries and negotiate with them. Pressuring Iran may help prevent them from developing nuclear weapons when they see that other nations have teamed up against them.
ReplyDeleteWe should also blow up their weapons so they wont have anymore
ReplyDeleteI think that everyone should continue with sanctions so they will have no people to buy their oil.
ReplyDeleteI think we should negotiate and then they might stop
ReplyDeleteI think that the best solution for Iran to stop developing nuclear weapons is to continue with the sanctions, one example is not to buy oil, and if they see that we don't want to buy their oil, their economy will be affected and they will realize what they are doing is wrong.
ReplyDeleteMaking peace and forgetting about everything. That is the best way to do things so everyone is happy and no one gets hurt any more. Then we can all be "besties" instead of enemies.
ReplyDeleteThey should put a law that you can not make nuclear weapons.
ReplyDeleteSanctions sort of we should really draw away their attention so that we can get people who need to get out of Iran can get out. Then we should take away their materials to create the weapons and then take away and destroy the already made weapons.
ReplyDeleteNegotiate with them and tell them to take away nuclear weapons and the United States will do something in return that is good for Iran and everyone else.
ReplyDeleteThe one with the oil punishment because the They won't get money to make more so they wood stop. So negotiations. But they mite not lison.:-(
ReplyDeleteEconomic Penalties
ReplyDeleteAmerica should continue to put sanctions on them.
ReplyDeleteTo have peace and talk between the other country's
ReplyDeleteI think the best way to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons is through sanctions.
ReplyDeleteI think they should punish Iran
ReplyDeletegreat video and interesting insight! For future videos, just wanted to inform you guys that Iran is pronounced as "E-run". Thanks and have a great day :)
